Corruption fuels maternal deaths, Amnesty says

DAKAR, 22 September 2009 (IRIN) – Corruption and mis-management of health services combined with low capacity, contribute to Sierra Leone having the world’s highest maternal mortality rates, Amnesty International Secretary General Irene Khan has told IRIN.
